YouTube

What is the need of banning YouTube, when so uptight nation is  watching it via proxy. I reckon only I was  stupid who did not know what the hell is proxy.

I ain't gonna write a  post on  freedom of speech or an essay on the  importance  of youtube in today's world bla bla. What makes my blood boil is  when people talk shit in front of me, gives me lecture on religion  and then do the same bullshit.

When I say some thing, I am anti Islamic, and when the same line of beggars says,  it is so damn right. Wah Wah..keya baat hai . Why copying my post when I am so bad, and re posting in like it is their  ?

No sweat. I am stupid.

I just said  YouTube  will not remove that offense movie. Till now it has been proved that YT people  have no intention of doing so. On the other hand   banning whole YouTube in Pakistan  has not effected YT at all. It is still running, and all so called Muslims from all round the world, including Pak is  watching it.

Now it is " tolerance."  Where was their  tolerance before? Suddenly they have learned how to be tolerant.

  1. Did they give an explanation why they decided to ban You Tube? You Tube is available in my country but certain areas such as schools and offices are restricting access. The reason, they want to emphasize why internet is provided for them. It's for work and studies and not for entertainment.

  2. Internet--like Freedom--is for EVERYTHING, and EVERYBODY!
Like God--NOBODY can just "remove" it from being, as if it is not there.

Don't governments realize that when they "ban" something, they make it more desireable.
Peeps will then do ANYTHING to get it, whether food, movie, religion, certain clothing, TV, Internet, learning, entertainment..or ...and...FREEDOM.

Eventually, we will fight for the right--ours, and others'
    PEACE!

  3. I see crazy things happening all around the world. But nothing can be more crazier than a human mind. People are BIG hypocrites. I wonder if even half of them know what they are doing or saying. These things are indeed annoying Izdiher...really annoying.

  4. I'm not on religion but if a religion cannot stand up to criticism then there probably isn't much of a base for it.

  8. it is interesting how many would ban information, pictures, etc from any kind of public place and yet even in Chine - one of the most restrictive societiest - i communicate with friends via the internet - people and governements are frightened by something they can not control. It is time to stop fear...

  15. They're pretty set on the freedom of speech thing. Even when it's not moral. One of the disadvantages of freedom I suppose.

  16. Even the devil can be tolerant if it suits his goal, his mission. Maybe tolerant is not the right word...more like "PATIENCE"...he can lie in wait under the guise of tolerance

  17. Youtube has many bad things - but surely I choice as to whether you want to watch or not should be given I think. If it is something extremely bad then yes it needs to be removed!

  20. I haven't heard of this news but for whatever reasons they are doing this ~ whether copyright issues or something else that they think important ~ I hope that it'll always be for the common good and not just for the interest of those who could pay.

  21. I'm quite sick of hearing this on the news to be honest. I hope it blows over soon.

  22. I agree with Steve E. Banning something only ensures that it will get MUCH more attention. Especially stupid, tasteless movies that should be ignored. Glad you found a "workaround" with proxies to get stuff from YouTube. There's lots of GOOD stuff there, too! :-)

  23. You can watch full films on youtube these days.
    http://www.reddit.com/r/fullmoviesonyoutube
That and documentaries and music is the main reason i use it.Banning things is meaningless in todays age of high technology.
There is a division between those who wish to ban or censor and those who are being censored. Nearly all censorship is to do with control over others, and it infantilises the debate.
How can you discuss what is banned if one cannot view it?
