Am I too optimistic?

It was raining cats and dogs at 7:00 am on Thursday, and I do leave my home for the university at 7:54 am. We are having longest monsoon season this year. They are not that heavy rains but Karachi is not capable to handle them. Then at 8:45 am I got the message that university has been closed. It was supposed to be.

Eid Al Adha is here as well. Picture this: Cattle animals, their stuff and dung, smell and all that, cherry on the top, rain. It is getting messier. Seems like nothing anyone could do about it.

There are lots of things we can't do anything about. My August wasn't that good by the way. There was so much mismanagement. And I have this bad habit of reaction. Life can't be the way I want_all the time.

All is not my bad, but I have also noticed that people are worried, scared, calculated and alert most of the time. The element of uncertainty is here. No matter how much you assure them, they will be in the state of worry. Actually they don't have much expertise to handle the situation. Knowledge and experience are two different things. Smart is one who has experience. On the other hand, I deny all the negativity. I strong believe nothing can go wrong. Whatever happens, happens for the best. And there is nothing in this world which can't  be fixed. We all learn from our mistakes.

Am I too optimistic?

  1. I know what a barnyard smells like after a rain. It isn't pleasant. I feel for you. Try to look on the positive, let the rain was away all the unpleasant "stuff".

It's not raining in Kansas City in the United States. Come on over and enjoy the fresh air as Autumn breaks with cool mornings and warm afternoons.
