First of all Bangla cricketers have no sport-man spirit .
They cried like spoiled brat after losing Asia cup's final match .
And then after recovering from that shock they challenged us to re-play .
To be very honest they were so annoying in the whole series.
I am so glad Asian Cricket Council turned down that babyish demand.
there is no denying the fact that they played good cricket and arguably deserved to win the cup but made at the end made a mess of their entire efforts by submitting a foolish complaint that the bowler stopped the batsman from taking a run. Everyone knows that onfield umpire decision is final and cannot be challenged.
ReplyDeleteIt was first for them to have made it so far but they have to learn to keep their cool. They lost composure in the end.
ReplyDeleteDo not watch Cricket as it is now too much messed up :)Nice reaction, Izdhiher
ReplyDeleteHahahah .. !! Exactly, izdiher. First when they played remarkably well, considering their past matches' progress, our heart went out for them. But now, what the hell? Never have seen such losers before :/ :D
ReplyDeleteI cannot really relate but I support you absolute 100%.
ReplyDeleteSadly there are many sports "heroes" who seem to be the same. It appears that the days of good sportsmanship are gone for the moment.
ReplyDeleteTrue!
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about this, but I approve - Sportsmen nowadays seem quite crazy to me!!
ReplyDeleteI am with you!!
ReplyDeleteWhen a team expects too much with high confident, then they lose, it feels so bitter.
ReplyDeleteI ever took an audition, then I was selected as big 50. I expected myself that I can be more than just 50, I expected too much. Once the result was not as I wished, I felt so down. I cant forget that until this second.
That's when sportsmen don't do their jobs. They're meant to buck up and smile when they lose and instead they act all pricey and indulge in offensive behaviour. Strange !
ReplyDeleteI don't know all the rules of cricket, but I do like to watch it when it comes on.
ReplyDeleteGood sportsmanship should always be a top priority in any sport. Too bad some adults still don't get that.
Sorry, no thoughts on cricket. I think I've seen it on TV once or twice.
ReplyDeleteCricket is not my game. But human nature is! And I in total agreement about athletes of this past 30 years--and before.
ReplyDeleteIn US, University 'stars' become overnight millionaires and all too often fizzle out like a wet firecracker.
And the most basic rule of any game is seldom broken--that "rule" is "DON'T GET CAUGHT!"
Thanks Izdiher, for your succinctly written opinion.
...and, of course...PEACE!
Haha babies indeed. Maybe they'll kick their feet in the air and cry again, or probably sulk :D
ReplyDeleteTHough I really don't like cricket!
Wondrful music you have!
ReplyDeleteit is a good point. I loved the music the most... acha gana hai... but i counldnt find the widget which was the source...
ReplyDeleteI hate cricket. And I agree that they are acting like babies! GOD!
ReplyDeleteHi Izdiher :) Eesha from 'Begun Bhaja'. Adore your blog.
ReplyDeleteLol seriously i am GLAD they turned down Bangladesh's childish request!!
ReplyDeleteWell but in there defence it was their first time, they couldn't handle the pressure.. :P
