There is so much  propaganda going on regarding Muslim way of slaughter animals. Propagandist are posting / emailing blooded animal photos, vids on YouTube, criticizing  Muslims are inhuman and cruel creature on this earth who slaughter animal in the most  cruelest  manner by torturing it and slowly and painfully killing it. So many are in tears. Some people/ activist  are acting out   about banning it in their countries.

Go a head !

We do cut throat_____of animal, and do it with a sharp object like knife, as quickly as possible and it definitely looks violent.

But it has its reason,Ok ____ It is not just Allah said that! Yes, Allah said that for sure. But millions of people can't be that fool who will practicing it blindly. It  has scientific reasons. And slaughtering is not just in Islam, fyi, Jews also do that  and do it in more detail, and depth. But all voices are against Muslim way of slaughtering/ halal food.

Though everyone talks about how cruel and inhuman this method is, but no one talks about the reason  and heath issue behind it. The real reason of slaughter is ........cleaning  the meat. To make it clean and healthy for mankind.

But still people have issue(s) than  they should banned it.

First of all slaughtering an animal is not just about cutting the animal's throat  in violent way, as you see, it has proper its proper ways and manners. You just can't go and slaughter any animal you want.  But  don't worry I ain't gonna drag any religious stuff, Qura'anic, Biblical, Torrah verses into it, just telling scientific logic behind this method of slaughtering.
 
 What happen in religious slaughtering,  slaughter just  cut  jugular vein  in the neck causing the animal’s death without cutting the spinal cord, the animal is left to die, meanwhile blood drained out completely from the animal body. Later  he remove the the head and cut the meat.

In this method it is make sure the animal’s spinal cord is left intact with main arteries in the neck cut, and the heart keeps beating to drain out almost all the blood from the body. Blood  carries all the viruses and bacteria—not to mention the toxins. Therefore; the slaughter meat is even more hygienic, pink in color rather than red and meat remains fresh for a longer time.

If you have little bit knowledge about how blood  transfusion causes  transfer of diseases , would not be problem to understand the  main reason of cutting jugular vein and letting out all the blood, which looks violent and makes other believe animal is so in much in pain.
 
Pain issue. 

Believe it or not, religiously slaughtered animal  feels less pain as compared to other method, because   cutting animal's throat in a single swipe  is less painful,  animal quickly loses consciousness than stunning it first by driving a bolt into its skull, gassing it or electrocuting it. The single swipe cutting of vessels of the neck disconnects the flow of blood to the nerve of the brain responsible for pain. Thus the animal does not feel pain. Just like people who cut their wrist and feel no pain.

While dying, the animal struggles, writhes, shakes and kicks, not due to pain, but due to the contraction and relaxation of the muscles deficient in blood and due to the flow of blood out of the body.
