Ahmed Khan: Roasted corn seeds seller
Corn seeds roasted in salt is one of the delights of Karachi. They are easily available on the roads side. The vendors with their unique movable wooden handcarts are mostly from the northern side of Pakistan.
Ahmed's is one of them.
Originally from Peshawar, he moved to Karachi when he was 15 year old with his two younger brothers in 2005. Now, in front of the tallest building of Karachi: Habib Bank, everyday since 8:30 am he sells roasted corn seeds in salt without much complain.
Looks interesting. Nothing that I know of like that in the United States. I'd be curious to taste them.
